If the sum of the transaction exceeds 15000 BGN, the payment has to be made only as a bank transfer. After signing the agreement for sale and purchase all documents of the vehicle have to be handed over to the purchaser.
If the vehicle is imported from another EU member state, the sale contract does not need to be attested by a notary public and there are no related notary fees.
